Mya Johnson is currently a 3L at Thurgood Marshall School of Law here in Houston, TX. She is a Houstonian native, and obtained her B.B.A. in Economics from Sam Houston State University. As a former law clerk for the Civil Rights Department of the United States Department of Agriculture, Mya had the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with political appointees. She is also an Articles Editor for Thurgood Marshall Law Review, and her article “The Lack of Trust in a Trust Relationship: Indian Affairs and The Federal Government” is scheduled to be published this coming school year. In her spare time, Mya enjoys fishing and arts & crafts.
