Victor A. Flores is an assistant city attorney for the City of McAllen providing general counsel services to city management and participating in the city’s in-house litigation defense team. In addition to serving as the TYLA District 25 Representative to the American Bar Association, he currently serves as an advisory member on the Texas Bar Journal – Board of Editors; Council Member for the State Bar of Texas Government Law Section; and Director for the Hidalgo County Bar Association. Victor is a recipient of the TYLA President’s Award of Merit, TYLA’s Pete Serrano Leadership Award; and Hidalgo County Bar Association’s Rookie of the Year Award. Prior to practicing law, he served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps (Infantry) and is an Iraq War Veteran. He graduated from Western Michigan University – Cooley Law School and the University of Texas – RGV.
