Iman is a native Houstonian who graduated from Kinkaid High School. She earned her BS, cum laude, from Tulane University, where she played Division-I volleyball. She then earned her JD, with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law. After beginning her career at Vinson & Elkins LLP as a corporate securities attorney, Iman went on to work as a corporate attorney for Exxon Mobil Corporation. Thereafter, Iman co-founded a business consulting and management firm, and with her real estate license, now actively invests in and manages real estate in addition to representing others in transactions. Running two businesses recently led her to Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business where she is now a full-time student pursuing her MBA with a concentration in real estate. Iman is married with three daughters (1, 2, and 2). This will be her second year on the HYLF board.
