MINORITY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE 

 

LIFE AFTER LAW SCHOOL

HYLA's Minority Affairs Committee will co-sponsor this event which addresses issues all law students face such as how to stay marketable and how to make use of your time while waiting for bar results. Hon. Alexandra Smoots-Hogan will be one of the featured speakers for this event which will be held on March 31, 2010 at 6 p.m. at South Texas College of Law in the Emilie Slohm room (6th Floor of the library). Network with young legal professionals and practicing attorneys. Food will be provided.

Minority Affairs Committee Purpose:

(1) To serve minority and women attorneys and organizations in Texas.

(2) To enhance employment and economic opportunities for minority and women attorneys in the legal profession.

(3) To increase involvement by minorities and women in the State Bar.
