Marketing Your Law Practice During Tough Economic Times

On February 4th 2009 the Young Solo Practitioners will host a discussion focusing on Marketing and Practice Development during this economic downturn.  Developing and maintaining a solid book of business during one of the toughest economic times in history requires a concentrated focus on strategic law firm and personal marketing. This presentation will enhance your understanding of marketing principles, individual business development and the significant role technology is playing in today’s competitive legal services industry. Beyond new insights garnered from the presentation, participants will leave with topical articles and templates for individual business development plans.  The program will be led by MaryJane Mudd, the principal of Full Tilt Communications and a 25 year veteran of award-winning marketing and public affairs strategies for Fortune 500 companies and international law firms.  Known for her energetic and informative speaking style, Ms. Mudd has spoken to numerous organizations including the Houston Bar Association, Legal Marketing Association, International Association of Business Communicators, Public Relations Society of America and The Advanced Learning Institute.  She serves on the Board of Directors of Leadership Houston and the National Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, and was recently named president-elect of the Houston Chapter of the American Marketing Association. The discussion will be held on 11:30am on February 4th at 1330 Post Oak Blvd ( Aon Tower-Conference Room).  CLE hours will be awarded and refreshments will be served. Cost is $15.00 ($10.00 for HYLA Members). Please direct all questions to Ronald Dupree Ronald@dupreelawfirm.com or Rabeea Sultan at Rabeea@thesultanlawfirm.com
