Miriam is a litigation associate at Winston & Strawn LLP. Her practice focuses primarily on representing clients in complex commercial disputes as well as energy and environmental matters. Before joining Winston, Miriam was the General Counsel for a chemical company where she managed litigation and negotiated commercial contracts. Miriam earned both her undergraduate and law school degrees from the University of Texas. She has been recognized by the State Bar of Texas for far exceeding the State Bar's aspirational pro-bono goal. In her free time, Miriam enjoys trying new restaurants, playing with her dog Lucy, traveling, and doing yoga.
Miriam Anderson is a litigation associate at Winston & Strawn, LLP. Her experience includes analyzing pleadings, conducting legal research, drafting a variety of motions, briefs, and discovery requests related to complex civil litigation and environmental enforcement actions. Miriam is originally from Abilene, Texas and is a graduate of the University of Texas and the University of Texas School of Law.
Miriam served as the Editor-In-Chief of the 2018 Harris County Bench Book which is a joint project of HYLA and the Houston Bar Association. Miriam has been recognized by the Pro Bono College for the State Bar of Texas for far exceeding the State Bar's aspirational pro bono goal in their efforts to address the vast unmet legal needs of the poor.
