Patrick Yarborough


Patrick Yarborough is a civil trial lawyer with experience successfully representing plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, mediation, dispositive motion hearings, temporary injunction hearings, arbitration, and trial.

Before joining Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anaipakos, Alavi & Mensing, P.C. (“AZA”), Patrick practiced in the litigation section of a large national firm for three years. He has also served as a briefing attorney to Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht and U.S. District Judge Mark E. Fuller in the Middle District of Alabama.

Patrick earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and served on the Texas Law Review. He is also an English literature graduate of Georgetown University.

Before joining the HYLA Board, Patrick served a two-year term on the Board of Houston Volunteer Lawyers, Inc., and he also serves as Treasurer of Story | Houston, a Houston-based literary journal.
