HYLF’s annual Adopt an Angel program is one of the organization’s touchstone events. It rallies the Houston legal community to meet the needs and provide gifts to some of Houston’s neediest children. Working with local elementary schools and charities, HYLF coordinates the donation of gifts—bikes, toys, clothing, and school supplies—purchased by attorneys and employees at 65 Houston law firms and legal departments for more than 2,200 children. HYLF collects the gifts and delivers them to the schools and charities, even providing Santa Claus to hand out the gifts!
