The HYLA Cohorts are a sequel to the HYLA Leadership Academy.

Part of the HYLA President's Advanced Leadership Initiative is to create safe spaces for attorneys in year 4-12 of practice to find mentorship and sponsorship with a more experienced attorney. These more senior attorneys are often at a critical stage in their careers in terms of making partner, going in house, starting families, looking for advanced leadership opportunities, and business development. All too often available mentorship resources are tailored to law students and more junior lawyers who are just beginning their careers. The HYLA Cohorts aim to address the gap!

Cohorts will consist of a small group of attorneys in years 4-12 of practice paired with a more experienced Mentor/Sponsor. HYLA will help pair mentees and mentors, coordinate quarterly meet ups, and encourage cohorts to gather informally monthly.

The cost to join as a Mentee is $200 for Private Practitioners and $150 for Solo/Nonprofit/Government Attorneys, which will help cover costs of in-person events, including a kickoff soiree, mentor panel, luncheon and more.
